New camera - snap a picture and focus later on

For a consumer camera this is a great concept: snap and focus later. You still need to be there to grab the moment, but you can always fix the focus part later on.

The technology is called light field and the very first picture of it's kind was apparently captured at Stanford University over 15 years ago. You can read more about it here:
